  1. Jamie,

Your lesson was awesome :) I think it was a good idea to use The Lion King to teach students about plot diagrams. This is a movie that most people have watched and the plot isn't crazy complex. The diagram that you used was very helpful for organization, but I think it needed more space to write in. I liked the way that you explained each section of the plot diagram in a quick and easy way, and it helped to see you write out the sections and go through the plot together. I liked that you gave us a list of ideas for us to explore when we filled out our own plot diagrams. Without the list some students might just be lost or easily get off task, but seeing classic Disney movies and fairytales, something the student can relate to makes it easy to stay on task. You did an awesome job :)

  2. I thought your lesson was great! The activities were really helpful and hands on which I liked. They allowed us to actually apply what we learned and come up with our own ideas and visions of the stories. Also, I thought the list you handed out was very helpful. You taught the lesson very clearly and confidently, and your knowledge of the topic really showed. One suggestion I have is to maybe move a little slower when you are doing the example out for the class. All students comprehend things at different speeds, and I think some students that are slower at doing this may have fallen behind you a little bit. However, that is very minor and easily fixable! I thought you did a great job, and are clearly going to make a great teacher!
